Being a leader in its sector, Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayi A.Ş. was established in 1962 to supply high carbon wire and steel wire rope need of our country and started production in 1968.
It was went to public in 1986 and in 1997; majority of shares was owned by Dogan Group. After that; Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayi A.Ş. has entered into a new impulsive period. Today; our products produced in compliance with international standards and majority of them are exported to all over the world with an increasing demand. Initial yearly production capacity was 4500 tons and started production with steel wire ropes, galvanized wire and spring wires. And then, bead wire and lastly prestressed concrete strand were entered into product portfolio with integration to developing market conditions and production capacity was increased. Our growth trend will continue in next coming years with projected new investments.
Being continuously developing and growing since its establishment, Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayi A.Ş. is always with you in compliance with international standards and special customer requirements with;
- Steel Wire Ropes; in various industries such as construction, marine, fishery, petroleum, mining and in elevators, chairlifts and cranes,
- Galvanised Wires; in many kinds of spring applications and in razor wires,
- Mechanical Spring Wires; mainly in automotive and white good productions and other spring manufacturing applications,
- PC Strand; in bridge girder production, prefabricated construction elements, ground and mine anchorages, nuclear power stations, silo constructions, housing constructions.
